The Constitution of
              Okinawa Kenpo Karate Renmei of America

To the Membership,
     This constitution is designed to treat eveyone fairly and equitably while providing an organizational structure that allows every member to persue their art in their individual manner, while prividing organizational support and ensuring the integrity of our art remains untarnished by unintentional change or erronious evolution.
     While standards ensure the integrity and traditions of the art, expanding upon or adding to our body of knowledge is encouraged.  These new ideas will withstand the test of time if they are benificial to and consistant with our art.  In this case they may be included in the Minimum Standards.
     All practitioners of Okinawa Kenpo Karate are welcome, because the Nakayama lineage of kata are specifically addressed, any interested person should not be disuaded from seeking membership.  All members are treated with respect and have a home with us.
     The authority of this constitution is effective immediately.
